Barrow Bags are compact, making delivery possible where access is tight. Typically these are delivered via a van and sack truck.
We ask that bags are returned for reuse to reduce wastage. Used bags can be dropped off at our yard or returned to us at the next delivery.

Can I change my delivery date?

You certainly can, we are only too happy to show you how we process, dry and store our Firewood. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
How do you dry your logs?
We dry our logs outside letting nature do its job. We use our kiln to finish the drying process when necessary, to ensure our logs are supplied ready to burn at below 20% moisture content.
Where does your wood come from?
Our wood is sourced from surrounding counties and is the crop from estates woodland management plans. We have had loads from Abergavenny, Ledbury, Leominster, Ludlow, Pontrilas and Worcester.
What wood are your logs?
Our logs are Hardwood, mainly Ash (due to ash dieback) loads also may be mixed including Birch, Beech, Cherry and Sycamore. We also use softwood to make our Kindling.
Do I have to be at home when you deliver?
We prefer to complete the first delivery when you are at home, when we know the lie of the land at your property we can deliver when you are out if you are happy with that. This is how we work with most of our customers.
We have however successfully completed “First Time Deliveries” when the customer has not been at home, by having a few photos of the property, the access and where the order is to be placed.
How do you keep the wood dry when you deliver if it's raining?
If it is raining we cover the logs on our truck during transit. We ask that you leave some form of protection such as a tarp and we will cover it when its unloaded.
I have been told I must use Kiln Dried Firewood?
Firewood according to the Government legislation has to be 20% or lower moisture content if sold in quantities of 2 Cubic Metres or less. The method of drying matters not it just has to be dry.
Do you deliver in my area?
We offer free delivery up to 10 mile radius of our yard in Hereford (HR4 7RA)
Up to 15 mile radius of our yard in Hereford (HR4 7RA) would cost £10.
We have delivered to customers further away, We calculate the distance using apple maps using our postcode and the destination postcode.
